About TSL and IBM
TSL became an IBM Dealer in 1990 after leading the way in downsizing legacy systems in the eighties to file server based solutions using Novell Netware as the Network operating System.
TSL was responsible for the delivery of the new technology to small and medium sized corporations and at that time sourced its IBM equipment from U.S. Resellers. With it's already excellent reputation for service commitment in the eighties it was a natural progression that IBM would seek a relationship with TSL which culminated in our appointment as an IBM Dealer in early 1990.
Corporate Delivery
In 1996, TSL decided to step down from the Home market as the Engineering capacitiy was simply not available to service the many installations in same. Strategically, it was decided that to continue to service this market without delivering excellent customer care, to which corporate Trinidad & Tobago had grown accustomed to from TSL, would be to dilute our good name.
Regional Strategy
TSL moved to server based solutions and Executive Think Pads and eventually became the natural leader in delivering IBM Blade Server technologically to corporate Trinidad & Tobago. With offices now in the region, TSL is promoting IBM Server solutions throughout the region.
